what it is

Claude Code is Anthropic's agentic coding tool. You hand it a task, like a bug fix, a test or a bigger migration, and it works through your project: reading code, editing files and running commands. You can steer it from the terminal, your IDE (VS Code, JetBrains), a desktop app, the web, Slack or the Claude mobile apps.

who it's for

Developers and engineering teams who want an AI agent that can do real work inside their own codebase.
